Jennifer Finney Boylan is an American author, professor, and transgender activist. She has written numerous books across various genres, including her memoir She’s Not There: A Life in Two Genders, which is one of the first bestselling works by a transgender American. In addition to her literary work, she is a professor at Barnard College and a contributing opinion writer for The New York Times, where she advocates for LGBTQ+ rights and awareness.
