It’s holiday time at Camp Stargaze for Kirsty and Rachel, and tonight the whole camp is having a midnight feast with fireworks. But the fire won’t get hot. The hot dogs stay pink. Even the marshmallows come out of the flames stone cold!<\/p>\n
The girls know exactly why. Jack Frost has stolen the Night Fairies’ bags of magic dust, and without Morgan’s night dust, midnight parties everywhere are flopping.<\/p>\n
Then a “spark” flies out of the fire with silver wings. It’s Morgan herself.<\/p>\n
When a boy spots a green “monster” in the bushes, Kirsty and Rachel slip away to follow it. It’s one of Jack Frost’s goblins, and his gang are having a much better feast than the campers. (Bogmallows, anyone?)<\/p>\n
What follows is lots of fun. Morgan shrinks the girls to fairy size, and they come up with a plan to spook the goblins with a ghost story. Rachel even gets disguised as a ghost!<\/p>\n
It’s got everything that makes these books so easy to love. Two best friends, a big secret, a bit of fairy magic and goblins who are much more silly than scary. The ghost stories round the campfire are giggly rather than spooky, too.<\/p>\n
